Oh this is so sweet. Izzy deserves love and pettings. One little thing I noticed; at the beginning Izzy notices that Ed has replaced his jacket with one of Stede's robes, but shortly afterwards Ed is described scratching his chin, his other arm across his front clutching at one of the buckles on his jacket. It doesn't really detract, it just caught my eye. I love that they keep checking in with him and use the opportunity to show him he's welcome, fold him into their arms and their bed, make it clear he's not unwanted. It's really lovely.

And yes, I love SteddyHands because it lets Stede and Ed be in sync and in love but also introduces Izzy in to give them some conflict and also lets me as a writer lean into all the hurt/comfort inherent in dealing with Izzy’s like… whole personality, and allowing him to be so prickly and yet loved anyway.
