I still love this :) The writing somehow surpasses even the satire - the wordplay ("asked repetitively," queried/enquired/queried, the truck the author couldn't be bothered to Britpick, etc.) is so cheeky. I'm so glad you immortalized this bit of brilliance on AO3!
Aww, thanks, Andante825. I remember this as one of the fastest stories I ever wrote, mostly because I was so immersed in H/D that the tropes just kept popping up in my head. But I'm glad you liked the wordplay, too, cause that was all mine. I appreciate the lovely comment.
