    Honestly I’d never thought of this crossover, but it makes so much sense! Both Wanda and Elsa’s magic grew out of control and they ended up hurting people they loved by trying to protect them. I loved seeing Wanda still angry and hurt from the events of MOM because that movie was a rollercoaster of emotions and trauma, but Elsa’s calm stoicism and understanding of her pain and past mistakes being able to calm her down felt so real and made so much sense.

    Honestly I have no trouble believing America would do something like that, she’s a young naive kid who wants to believe the best in people, and she’s seen first hand Wanda’s pain and struggle, so it’s understandable she’d want to help her.

    Also Anna immediately reprimanding Elsa on trying to handle things on her own and trusting someone who sent her flying across the room felt very accurate to canon Anna, and I don’t blame her, Elsa really needs to learn to trust and rely on others, she can’t do everything on her own all the time!

    The calm understanding between Wanda and Elsa was so nice to see. I love their conversations, both aloud or telepathic, because they have so much in common. I feel like Wanda is in the place Elsa was at the start of Frozen I in her ice castle all alone and scared, except Wanda has done slightly worse things than Elsa, but emotionally I feel like she’s in a very similar place to past Elsa, and that’s why it’s so easy for Elsa to empathise with her situation, even if she doesn’t know everything.

    Anyway, sorry for my ramblings, I really enjoyed this fic! Also Olaf, as always, made me laugh, he’s so adorable XD

      I am really enjoying writing this story (all except ch3 which was not fun to write one bit), so I’m really happy you liked the opening chapter too:) as you know already, I just really really wanted to give Wanda a happy ending, so that’s what she’s going to get in this fic (eventually! She just has a trek to get there:))

      America also knows Wanda lost her twins, and America lost her moms, so she has that parallel to her, too. I feel like there is some very nice material there for them to eventually be friends later on! Anna is, like Elsa, very protective of her sibling xD So she’s a bit more hesitant than Elsa, who immediately senses the similarities between her and Wanda and dearly wants to prevent another person with magic from continuing to be hurt the same way she has been previously. Anna cates, of course, but she’s more concerned about protecting Elsa.

      Thank you so much for reading!<3 Things do get worse before they get better (the darkest one is ch3), but I felt like this story needed that chapter for her to genuinely start moving forward if that makes sense.
