I actually have no experience with the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but nonetheless this fic has been fascinating all the way through. It somehow feels lengthier than the word count suggests, probably having to do with the sheer amount of detail crammed into each paragraph. It might not appeal to everyone, but personally it's something I really love. I also like Phyla's inner narration. It reminds me of those films with dialogue that would never be realistically spoken in conversations, but are all the more charming because of it. Very much appreciate your writing.
Why, thank you very much! When writing this piece, I was very aware of the fact that the central character appeared in a niche run of comics 15-20 years ago, so it felt satisfying and useful to indulge in some exposition! I'm glad that you appreciated it :)
