    I also dearly loved Ruby wanting to be a source of light to people in her past, and how that translated into her daydreams and is now becoming realized!!

      When it comes to the less action-packed and more toned down scenes, I'm more cautious about how the story is progressing, since I know sometimes slowing down too much can drag down the pacing. But good to know that it's not as big of an issue as I thought! If there's one thing I probably could add more of is describing the setting of scenes, but it's tricky to balance between detailed description / narration and pacing. I'll look into that too.
