    I’m telling you, if this such-simple-but-why-didn’t-anyone-think-of-this-solution was done by OG Riftan and boosted by the childhood backstory of why he was a simp for Maxi, the entire series would be done in 1 book with way less chapters. And though I’m not a fan of Jane Austen, I must say that I prefer your story premise. Everything checks out for me.
