    Let it rain on me

    I've been waiting to get to this all daaaay *excited*. *cracks knuckles* I always love your SteveScott stuff <3.

    Oh dear, Warren being an asshole to Scott, what else is new *sigh*.

    Poor Scott *cough*. Jean should really be flattered about all the lengths he's going to here to impress her :D.

    Of course Steve just happens to be there *grins to herself* Oh this is going to be fun.

    I love the introspection both on Scott's and Steve's side. It's a nice slow build up for what's coming <3.

    Yeaaah, with people like Warren and Bobby around, probably best to keep this to himself *pats Scott*

    I mean, personally, I can't even write Scott's time in the streets before Charles dark enough because let's face it there's a real chance they were so I'm very much on board with rumors like this. Granted, I keep him out of the hooker scene in my headcanon though he's let it slip at some point that it was simply luck it never got that low. I'll be dying on my "Remy was once doing occasional and very enthusiastic sex work for power and information" hill though :D.

    You know what, let Warren keep Jean, Scott and Steve are just too cute :D.

      Thank you very much! It was a bit different even for SteveScott, but I decided to roll with it and have a little fun in that difference.

      Yeah Warren's certainly a bit of an asshole in this one and I think in a way Jean is flattered, but she's young and Warren is laying it on thick in his attempts to woo her which in this case makes Scott feel like the odd man out in sorting it out. They're young and no one is really the bad guy in it, but it's a tense situation for sure.

      Steve was such a fun thing to toss into the mix because you never know where that will lead with so many variables he could bring to the table. Neither Steve nor Scott were anticipating being in that situation, but once it happened and they were seeing each other with fresh eyes from a new perspective it opened the door to something greater.

      I'm certain Scott went through some really awful things on the streets and there are times when I touch on some on those in different ways, but yeah I don't let him fall into the hooker scene either because it's just such a painful thing to put upon a child that it is one that while I understand how it fits into the canon, I tend to steer clear from most of the time. I mean Remy I could see on the other hand headed down that path because...Remy, but still lol.

      Scott was bold in wanting to explore being adventurous but in a lot of ways that's what this is about and Steve taking the time to fan the flames towards guiding Scott toward learning what he wants out of a relationship and this exchange between them. Yes, Steve's a bit of a tease in some ways and he's really holding back because in his art he's expressing some of that yearning for Scott and exploring that in a lot of ways. I think Steve was shocked with how readily Scott agreed to bondage that Scott's not as experienced as Steve imagined. It's something for them to consider, but Steve's intrigued and it's something that is putting them in the right direction together. Their time in the shower was entirely about Scott and what he's eager to discover between them and that's where Steve is at in this moment testing the waters and deciding if he can open up to Scott about his own cravings and desires and if Scott is someone who can fulfill that in him while allowing Steve to help Scott discover his needs as well.
