    Absolutely loved this first chapter and I'm so excited to read more! This is certainly an ominous and suspenseful tone, which I love. I also love how you've written Laura, it's exactly as I imagine her to be (and different than how she's written in current books, more along the lines of her original character, I love what you're doing with that - it's amazing how you've written her). Also, Gabby is precious. Amazing work!
