Thank so you much for reading. I thought it might be a fun place in time to explore as Scott is still sorting out a lot about himself and where he's headed with a different spin.
Scott has a tendency to find himself in those situations where it blows up in his face there lol and yeah I could totally see it being the reverse of Domino's mutation although in some ways it winds up working out even if he's dealing with the awkward situations lol.
Steve and Scott are a fun one to explore because they do have a lot of things in common, but absolutely a lot of differences in their approach at times. Steve having the age over Scott and the experience allows him to see the world through different eyes where as Scott has also had so much to deal with on his road. I hated the division between Steve and Scott in the whole AvX garbage and I'm glad they are returning to that earlier friendship as well. I think it could be beneficial for both of them in the comics down the road and kind of wish they would've had Scott taking part in Steve's new version of the Uncanny Avengers they have going on.
LOL poor Scott is amazing at what he does, but the social interactions are always rough on him in those situations. Steve has picked up on a lot of Scott's awkwardness and is charmed by it to some degree and absolutely understanding of how Scott is in a much different place than where he's at. Their coming together in this sparks the beginning of something much deeper between them in being something that they both can grow from. There's a tenderness there among the obvious attraction and yes it speaks volumes about Scott's desire to trust Steve and open the door to that kind of intimate exchange. That's huge for him and Steve realizes it and wants things to be special for them. Thanks again for reading. I'm so happy you enjoyed this one!
