Scott deserves all the love in the world and someone who will treat him to the comforts he deserves. LOL yeah Bobby is a friend, but one who tests Scott's limits sometimes in impossible ways lol.
Scott and Steve really deserve to say to hell with responsibility for a bit and take time to themselves and just be lol. I think some of Steve's hesitation is that Steve made some mistakes the first time around with Bucky, who in this story I dipped a little into comic canon where Bucky was younger than Steve and basically handed over to Steve and groomed to be Steve's superhero partner. Obviously (I think I mentioned it here or will lol as I don't remember all I posted) that led to them becoming lovers and Bucky/Scott have some unexpected similarities in their beginnings with Steve where I think Steve's trying not to repeat the same mistakes he might've done the first time around when Bucky was his sub. He's taking beyond baby steps and showing immeasurable control with Scott, but there's that same need to want to let loose and give in. It's just in doing so Steve's kind of agonizing about doing it right because Scott's someone he truly cares about in ways that he hasn't felt for a while and that complicates things lol.
LOL of course Tony was full of the toy idea. Tony's got no shame or guilt in flaunting the fun he has in expressing his sexual nature and being as bold as possible in his branding for the team lol.
This was a huge thing for them and it pulled them closer in a good way with Scott taking charge a bit in showing Steve that he's not a fragile flower who is going to break if they give in to temptation. It gives them some food for thought for sure lol
