    I used to read this on your website and have it long since saved on my hard drive. It's one of my go-to angst stories and the terror of Kathryn drowning and fearing for Chakotay's life, yet Chakotay's refusal to give her up because she IS his life gets me every time.

    I could never get the image of Chakotay filling her lungs with his breath out of my head. It's one of those scenarios that kind of just stick.

    Just re-read it today and had to share it on tumblr.
