I've been rereading this series, but had to put that on hold a bit because of Real Life. So imagine my delight when I realized you'd updated this in that time!
After how brutal the first fic was, it's been nice to read these moments of peace before events ramp up again. I love the growing relationship between Markus and Simon! They're so tender. And it's nice seeing Leo as more sympathetic; yeah, the Ice isn't making him the greatest person, but I love these glimpses of what made him this way (and it helps to know that he's trying so hard to improve himself later.) I also like the little hints about Kamski's darker world.
