Oh yeah, fair about the unpredictably of a demon. Even as I try to put myself in the shoes of all characters when possible, I often forget that Charlie's still a demon>, especially since as the reader, I'm very aware of who Charlie actually is haha
And your story on how AD came to be reminds me of a little comic I've seen before: it depicts a child sleeping in bed and from under the bed, you see a monster's arm slowly creeping up to reach for the child's dangling arm... only to grasp it and comfort the child from underneath the bed. Not sure if you've seen it; it's often reposted on Reddit but then again, I spend way too much time on Reddit as is lol
