    Hello !

    Here I am! Not to play a bad trick, but to comment on this new story, which, with its first chapter, instantly caught me in its nets. And I’m delighted! I devoured this chapter, enjoyed reading every line, every dialogue, every description, and I like that this story is made from the point of view of Shadow. It didn’t take you long to attract my soul of Sonadow reader and good stories (laughs gentitment).
    Now, my little comment!

    Maria, sweet Maria, you are truly the guardian angel of our black hedgehog. Without her, without her appearance as a ghost, I suspect that our hedgehog has found the strength to leave his crater, and thus get into a safer zone. But most importantly, he has reached the place where our dear hero will find him, and thus, provide him with first aid. It is clear that wherever she goes, Maria will always keep an eye on him. How beautiful...

    I was blown away when Shadow compared Sonic in his Super form to an angel. He is often equated with the sun, but I also validate this comparison. Because the Sonic of movies is really a love, a cream, an hyper-active angel (You’ll be surprised, but it’s only today that I saw the three films. Excellent timing I would say? And so, I was able to discover this version of the blue hedgehog absolutely adorable. Give him all the love of the world, by Chaos and Gaia!).

    On the other hand, if Shadow could avoid strangling our angel, although this is explained by a defense mechanism and a reflex of habit. Somewhat sorry to see that he has lost some of his memory, but it is not much in view that he fell from space. Nevertheless, he feels deep down that Sonic is a familiar person, and I am happy to see that he places his trust in the blue hedgehog.
    The latter made the best imitation of Shadow that presents itself that I have seen, and I laughed frankly.

    Yes Shadow; Sonic is a beautiful hedgehog and worth watching. Yes, he also has a laugh that we want to hear constantly. (Yes, I became even more crazy about my affection for this blue hedgehog, and for his ship with Shadow. )
    I wonder if Maddie taught Sonic how to heal and especially make bandages around the wounds. It would not be surprising, given how our blue hedgehog likes to learn from her, and that she surely wishes that her adopted son knows how to heal himself during his adventures, when she will not be there to do so. In any case, I greatly appreciate the interaction between our hedgehog, and the thoughtfulness of Sonic, who has been patient, quite calm by the way, while he still found a Shadow that should be technically dead, and his gestures and presence have become a necessary and providential support for our Shadow.

    Maddie is a real gem, and I’m glad that such a person took Sonic under her wing. Despite her fears, in view of the acts of Shadow, she agrees to open his door, let him in, and especially check his health and if it is necessary to do more thorough care.
    And then, seriously, who can resist the irresistible face of our blue hedgehog, pleading? (I, I will have cracked and given him everything he wants!).
    My heart was delighted to read these lines, where Sonic reassures Shadow by being close to him visually and having physical contact, in order to reassure him and keep him a little away from his dark memories. I feel sorry for Shadow, to have been considered a laboratory rat, pushed beyond its limits, and having to undergo a battery of tests and things... not pleasant, by people without emotions or warmth. Fortunately that Maria was there to give him a reason to live, and especially psychologiqment hold to all this.
    Now, Sonic is taking on this role. And Maddie has shown Shadow that not all human scientists or doctors do not care about his opinion, are well being, or what he accepts to have as tests or not. She was a perfect teacher, patient and above all reassuring. Finally a positive human encounter for our black hedgehog, since his awakening from his state of stasis.

    Tails is absolutely adorable, with his hesitation to enter the room, his need to be in Maddie’s arms, and the fact that he nevertheless accepts the presence of the black hedgehog because he has confidence in Sonic and his decision. It’s a shame that the discovery of the scanner throws away this peaceful moment...

    Black Doom and the Black Arms, these words make me shiver every time, knowing the threat they represent. Invaders of planets, just taking pleasure in destroying everything and not formalizing any emotions or attachment. Where Black Doom reigns as master, seeing the Black Arms only as replaceable and helpful pawns. For me, it is an antagonist that I fear in the franchise of the Blue Hedgehog, as well as The End and Mephiles.
    It’s sad to say that Shadow has this alien blood in his veins. But as Sonic says, he can’t be blamed for the acts of his kind, which he has no memory of. In addition, he has to prove that he was not like them, having developed affection for Maria, but also saving the planet from destruction with the help of Sonic. I love the lesson that history will provide us, that it is not our blood or our origins that define us as an individual, but our actions and encounters that define us, and let us know which family we belong to. It is not uncommon to turn away from your blood family, and appreciate the family that accepts you as you are, and of which you feel joy to be part, this feeling of being simply in its place.
    And that is a lesson our dear black hedgehog will have to learn.

    It was obvious that Sonic would go with him. He knows that Shadow will need someone to support him when he faces the Black Arms, and will discover the full nature of Black Doom. It is common knowledge that Black Doom sees in Shadow only an experiment, a tool to allow him the use of Chaos Energy, and at worst, as host of his mind if Black Doom’s body is destroyed. I’m afraid of what could happen to our two hedgehogs...

    Will Shadow experience the pain of Doom’s power mutations on his body, as with the appearance of wings?
    Will he discover the room where he was conceived, revealing prototypes of him dead or in the process of creation?
    Will he be hurt? Will our dear Sonic be badly hurt? Black Doom will not try to grab the two hedgehogs to make them live horrible experiments?
    Will they be able to return home unharmed? Have they at least planned an extra ring just to get back to Earth?

    It is my hope that Shadow will realize that yes, Sonic is indeed his guardian angel, and that he will accept what he is, and do everything to put him back on track or remind him that he is none other than Shadow, a hedgehog loved by Maria and who saved the earth. And that he will never be a weapon, nor a bloodthirsty invader.

    Eager to read the next chapter, though nervous about what might happen to them. And I’m delighted to follow and comment on a new story from you!

      Hello!

      It's nice to see you. I didn't think it would be so soon, but I'm quite pleased I've managed to catch your eye with this one. The minute I came out the theater and realized Gerald had no part in Shadow's inception, this story was softly brewing beneath the surface. Of course, we can't have a story about Shadow inspired by the game Shadow the Hedgehog (05) without putting it in his PoV, and I can't write any lengthy story without invariably making it Sonadow.

      She's protecting Shadow from beyond the grave. That's what love looks like. If it wasn't for her appearance, he likely would have stayed in that crater and let death come for him. He either would have actually succumbed or someone from GUN or the like would have found him. We don't want either of those outcomes happening.

      I guess I should have compared it to the sun lol
      Oh, well, we still have time for Shadow to wax poetry about Sonic's super form.

      I'm so glad you've seen the movies! I love them so much. This universe truly has my heart and soul. What can I say? I'm a sucker for found family.

      Shadow was just wary for a moment. Sonic, of course, was accommodating. He let Shadow keep his paw there- literally leaving his life in Shadow's hands- to make the ebony hedgehog more comfortable. That, too, is a kind of love, I would say.

      Sonic knows Shadow more than Shadow would like him, too

      Fellas, is it gay to think your homie is beautiful and that he has a laugh you want to listen to all the time?

      She taught him and the others some basic first aid. Sonic, especially, picked it up after remembering how terrified he was when Tails wouldn't wake up in the second movie. The only reason Sonic isn't freaking out is because he did that while Shadow was still unconscious. He's been in that forest, bandaging Shadow's wounds for a little while.

      Maddie is the best. I love her so much. She wants to protect her family, but she also sees that Shadow isn't a threat. He's only a kid just like her sons who needs someone to help him and guide him toward a better future. Sonic and Maddie are going to help Shadow no matter what he's done to them in the past.

      Tails is my little guy. He's my favorite person to write in the movieverse because he's just a little baby. He deserves all the love and kindness in the world

      Sonic is going to have to convince Shadow of that, but I'm sure our favorite blue hedgehog will be up for the task

      Sonic isn't going to let Shadow face the Black Arms alone after seeing what destruction they can wrought, even if the Black Arms is technically like Shadow's extended family

      All of those are great questions that will be answered soon enough. And those are realizations that I'm hoping Sonic will help Shadow have and believe
