      I'm glad you enjoy the fic! Personally, I really like the idea that Genshin did not really like Sholmes all that much, and he ESPECIALLY does not like when Sholmes' recklessness either puts Mikotoba in danger or leaves Mikotoba to worry. Kazuma is his father's son after all, and he'll defend those he cares for with whatever it takes, even threatening their dear partners.
