Comment on Quick And Bitter, Slow And Sweet

  1. It figures that as hot as their attraction to each other, that a break up between Tony and Ziva would be equally as hot. I sincerely hope that there will be no Tali to complicate things even further.

    1. Thank you!

No, I deliberately left Tali out of this. I've seen what putting the kid in the middle of an angry/resentful divorce does, and honestly I'd feel guilty even putting it on a fictional child. It also felt out of character for them to lean into a long separation and snarky interactions if there was a child involved.

I hope you enjoy the res of the story.

      1. Good that there is no Tali in this story to further complicated things.
        Out of character? IDK
I've read many stories where they do get together and probably just as many where they don't. One, like here, where they do get together then have it fall part, is one don't recall seeing before.
Butike I said, heated passion for each other could also turn into heated passion against each other.
I'm planning on sticking around to see how this plays out.

        1. I think, given Tony's obvious issues with the rotation of stepmoms he had after his mother died, and the way Ziva speaks about her parent's divorce - that even if they couldn't stand each other, they would manage a separation in a way that wouldn't affect their kid anymore than necessary.

Bitter and nasty is absolutely in their repertoire (and we will see some of it a little later) but not once there was a baby involved.
