I love how you stay true to their characterization and show that even in a different setting from canon
I'm so glad you think so!! Characterization is really important to me in general, but doubly so in an au setting, since putting the characters into a whole different context can run the risk of seeming more like an oc than anything. Very relieved they don't seem too out of character!
