    The mirth of the hero glints in his eyes, a lingering, crinkled stare studying Ryunosuke even when the laughter dies from his lips.
    You can't do this to me already man I just got reading and I already want to run around with glee

    “…I also tend to forget to take it off,” he adds sheepishly, scratching at the back of his head.
    lol Ryuunosuke, I love the emotional vulnerability of him talking about his mother then admitting sometimes he just forgets xD

     

    OOF that was hard to read but Ryuunosuke definitely needed to hear it, especially from Kazuma.

    We all know the King is right but his logic is technically sound, to be fair there's no way to know "what's right" ((but if he just believed in runo and that the prayers weren't the answer maybe there'd be a different ending to all this lol))

    Ryunosuke’s own laugh of joy slips out, easy and unbidden. Lighter, is the one word that surfaces in his mind. It all feels so much lighter.

    Ahhh another amazing chapter! And Ryuunosuke is finally getting a proper chance to work on his stuff. They're having hard conversations but it's necessary. I can't wait to see how Ryuunosuke does his research

    And the two are really becoming friends now!! I'm so happy <3 <3 <3

      We can have a little beat down of the king, as a treat (can you tell I also dislike Rhoam LOL—though given the hints in tgaa canon, I can see Ryunosuke's parents having similarities) 😌 Ahh I'm so glad to get to the point where their friendship truly begins to start!!
