    Ok this was so good again but sad to think about how much they've grown apart :-( I loved that dinner celebration so much, Juliet's embarrassment, Kate being transported back to that first day directly, the friendships that endured.(James, Sun) and also curious about the ones that didn't (can't help but notice Jack wasn't invited, but they might not have been friends anymore).

    Their present day is of course getting more and more enmeshed, no way she'll be leaving in 50 hours 😅

      thank you so much, i’m so glad you’re enjoying the discovery! :) your point about who was at the dinner and who wasn’t is so insightful! i kinda hc jack and juliet as having minor (but long-standing) beef in this au lol, like they’re cordial and kind to each other but have prob never hung out alone. plus you know jack and his fam were having their own fancy celebration, while james wasn’t gonna be doing that so it makes sense for him to be part of juliet’s. and hahhaha i do hope you’re right about present day ;) they need all the time in the world to make up for what they’ve lost! so eager to know what you think about the next few chapters, ty for reading and for this lovely comment :) <33
