    I keep coming back to this story because it's just so interesting!

    I keeping checking in to see how this story will progress.

    How and when Shadow figures out the mystery of the Lighthouse.

    Eggman won his last fight against the hedgehog, but it may not be the final one. Not if Shadow has anything to say about it. And Sonic might not be very nice about their little reunion either...

    But that's getting ahead of ourselves.

    Shadow has to get him out first, both halves of Sonic out.

    You know, I kinda figured if it might be Dark Sonic in the spooky basement if only because it would make sense to have a counterweight to all the pure positive chaos energy down in the basement where no one could hear him scream.1

    And also I cheated and read the tags to confirm if Dark Sonic was an option, lol.

    Now Shadow has 2 pet energy hedgehogs to take care of and love. Yeaaaaaaaa. I wonder if Dark Sonic has a measure of control over the lighthouse too. And can the two halves talk to each other?

    I have a feeling that Super was aware of Dark, but I don't know if they can communicate.

    Also, it seems like both Sonics have memory problems, because if he really remembered Shadow, Sonic would know that Shadow doesn't give up once he said he's going to do something. They are both like that honestly. Also, Shadow wouldn't shy away from something just because it's spooky. He's staying there, not even out of just honor, but pride. To prove to himself that he is not beholden to fear.

    "I'm not afraid of you."

    He says.

    Like a lier.

    Anyway, thank you for writing this story! I'm excited for more!

    On a side note, the story is not updating. Like new chapters are appearing, but the upload date doesn't change and it doesn't show up on the front page of the fandom.

    Is that supposed to happen?

    Lastly, the emails are great and hilarious. I love them!

      Also, I forgot to mention this, but I have this terrible fear that Eggman, once he gets wind of what Shadow is doing in the lighthouse, he may try to do to Shadow what he did to Sonic...

      After all, Sonic's not the only hog that can go Super...
