    I'd argue it's more that. Neither of them are supposed to have the ability to get sparked at all (minus probably some rare chance of 0.01%) and have fooled around because of that like mentioned in chapter 1.

    So, SDW's brain is probably thinking: if I couldn't get him pregnant before after all that time, wtf did did when he got told the news!? And he probably did assume it was his for a split second but refused to say it until Starscream got upset and said it wasn't, so now he's just mad again

    Like mentioned a little by Starscream, seekers probably can get sparked maybe a year in advance before a sparking reveals itself to the carrier, really the timeline is hard for them to put 2 and 2 together, hence SDW struggles to put "2 plus 2" here, the time line is rather long and spread out as well for these two since they last interfaced probably, maybe a year or two; SDW has 0 knowledge of how seeker's carry too since all his experience with them are those who aren't built to be sparked, so really it's Starscream's fault for not telling him anything!🤣
