Holy crap, this is such a weird premise. I mean, it makes logical sense, but it never entered my mind that they’d suspect Bruno of…that.
I understand that Felix and Agustin likely weren’t very close to Bruno at all and that they’re worried for their children, but it does seem just a step too far. I mean, they have absolutely no proof of anything indecent and Bruno didn’t have to help Mirabel or stick around after Casita fell. A guilty man wouldn’t have.
Kinda goes to show you just how toxic of a place Bruno was living in before the events of the movie. “Because I’m Bruno and everyone always assumes the worst”. Even worse is that neither one apologized for their accusations.
You did a good job of picking a unique premise for the story and for making me emotional, certainly. Kudos
