    I love your insightful comment (I live for these comments, tbh). Yes, I deliberately made WWX NOT a natural prodigy. His Golden Core isn't strong, since his parents were muggles (like Hermione's parents) and his mom a muggle witch (like Lily Evans). His struggle and "resentful self-talk" are important plot points.
