    Ohhhhh my kagehina 🥺 Can't believe they're the more mature couple in this story, how the times change hahah but no I ADORE them so seeing little glimpses of their relationship was everything to me. Ushikage's friendship is very special to me, so I loved their scene at the end, I think it was beautiful. They've come such a long way, learning to be friends and teammates and trust each other.

    Ushijima and Oikawa have a long way to go, I fear, but I can see that they're putting in the effort to navigate the complicated mess that's their relationship and I can't wait to see them be victorious ❤️❤️❤️ Oikawa's anxiety struggles are so real and relatable and my heart aches for him, he deserves the world :(

      I adore Kagehina too, I've read so much fic for them and I really wanted to pay tribute to that by implying that they've been through the wringer together and come out stronger. They've broken up, argued and hated each other, but in the end they consciously chose to be together and then WORKED HARD to make it happen. And that's the source of the knowledge that Kageyama shares with Ushi. I also like it that Ushi trusts Kageyama so much because he's let him direct him on the court as his setter for so long, that sometimes he hears Kag's voice in his head yelling at him and giving him direction. their friendship to me is so special because it is built on few words but years of mutual respect and cooperation.

        Oh my god the way you talk about kagehina!! I love exploring them realistically like that, where things didn't fall in place perfectly for them (people sometimes hc kghn as a very straightforward, easy love story with no issues, which is so boring to me) and they had their struggles and fights and breakups and insane angst, yet still found their way back to each, I EAT THAT SHIT UP. If you were to ever write kagehina, I would be very curious to see your take on them!
