    everyone talks about Susie's inevitable crashout when she discovered kris's allegiances and/or the true nature of the soul, but it feels like nobody ever considers that kris could just like. lie.
    "trust me, susie, I've always been friends with you. that thing's been controlling me and using my body to work with the knight!"

    nice to see someone else thought of that idea.

      Yeah. Kris has always been a prankster and a damn good one at that. Combined with them being a competitive ranked scheming bastard in the modern day and they are a great liar.
      They would have blamed more on Angel if it wasn't for Susie being so willing to just go along with whatever her "friends" say. Sometimes to her detriment.
      Kris needs to learn that you can't lie your way out of consequences forever though. You can lie to a person, but you can't lie to reality.
