dropthebeat: I like your voice
“Well hello there, sweetheart,” he says, pitching his voice low and breathy. “Ain’t never noticed you around before, always nice to see a new face. Like the way I sound, huh?” Jesse starts rubbing his hands slowly up his abdomen and over his chest before dragging them back down again, fingers teasing under the edge of his briefs. Lúcio whines low in his throat, and taps out an honest answer.
dropthebeat: yes
“Like me to whisper in your ear, baby? Tell you all the things I’d do to you? How I’d make you feel nice? Get you off listenin’ to me tell you how good you are so many times I ain’t even gotta touch you, yeah? Just the sound of me talking’ll have you ready for me.” Jesse leans back and rubs his palm over the bulge in his briefs, sitting up and easing his thighs apart. Lúcio swallows, the sound of it loud in his ears.

Summary
Lúcio skips through time zones so rapidly that Jesse feels tired just thinking about it. He’s in Italy, then Russia, then Japan. South America more frequently than anywhere else— he’s in Brazil a lot. Genji thinks his business is based there, and that he spends his time flying around the world to manage it. Meeting up with clients, or coworkers, or suppliers. It’s hard to guess without knowing what he does for a living, specifically, but Lúcio skirts questions about his job and personal life like the plague, so Jesse and Genji don’t push.
He tells them about the food he likes and the movies he watches and his favorite podcasts, and he talks about music for as long as they let him. Genji likes to get him started, likes to hear what he has to say when he gets lost in a rant. Overrated classics, underrated new talents, his favorite artists and pieces and sounds. How privilege stands in the way of innovation.
That music belongs to everyone, always.

Summary
All he needs to do is click a button; one tap, and everything’s done. His body doesn’t want to cooperate, finger hesitating over the screen of his tablet.
Once he does it, he can’t take it back.
Lúcio breathes in deep, and lets his head fall against his pillows; it’s been six months since everything changed between him and Jesse and Genji.
It should be easier than this, but his stomach is twisting like it hasn’t in years. Like before his first big show, when he stood backstage for a moment made impossibly long in his memories— watched the lights pulsing, listened to the audience calling his name. So many voices, all screaming for him.
They make him feel like that all over again, just the two of them. Like everything is different, and forward is so much better than what’s behind him.
Like he just needs to take one step, and grab it.
It hasn’t even been a year. He hasn’t even met them in person yet, but they are in his thoughts, always. Music, and home, and Genji, and Jesse.

Summary
Lúcio covers his face with his palm, closes his eyes. Inhales deep, and lets it out, slow and shaky.
They don’t want him missing doses of his meds. They don’t want him missing meals. They don’t like it when he runs himself ragged between shows, or keeps working when he’s sick
or tired. They don’t like it that he’s across the country, across the ocean, across the world. It feels, more than anything, like they should be waiting on him when he comes home. Like they belong in his house, sleeping in his bed. Eating all his food, lazing around on his couch. Like his closets should be full of their clothes. Lúcio wants Genji’s makeup scattered on his bathroom counter, and Jesse’s boots kicked off in his floor.
He doesn’t want to be their client.
He just wants to be theirs.

Summary
The past three weeks have passed agonizingly slow, but waiting for Jesse and Genji to show up when they are already so close is a fresh sort of misery. He’s getting messages from time to time— a selfie of them both at the airport with Reinhardt fighting a grin in the background, pictures of the city as they pass it by.
Jesse has been to Brazil before, but he came in fast and left out bloody. Didn’t get a chance to do much sightseein', and Lúcio is sure that’s an understatement, but he doesn’t ask any more questions.
They all have their scars, and their stories, and they’ll share them when they’re ready. Genji has never been anywhere in South America, and he’s excited in a way that feels contagious, even from miles away. The grin he’s wearing in the pictures he’s sending is gleeful.
Lúcio wants to kiss it off his mouth.
