Summary
Maybe it was some Gryffindor bravado that possessed him to do it, maybe it was a bout of real madness – but Oliver decided, in that very moment, to rock onto the balls of his feet and press his lips to Flint's perpetual scowl.
---
In which Oliver Wood does nothing without giving it his all, Marcus Flint gets over issues the size of a hippogriff and they both go professional after leaving Hogwarts.
Or: Pining, dry-humping in a cupboard after evading Mrs. Norris, heated stares in the prefect’s bathroom, blizzard flights and shouting matches across the Great Hall. Also, introspection of some kind.

Summary
Marcus looked down at the wizard, still twitching pitifully on the ground, snot and tears streaking across his wrinkled face. He was moving his mouth, thick tongue and all, begging for mercy.
“Crucio.”
*
In which, against all odds, Marcus Flint and Oliver Wood end up fighting on the same side.
Or: Pining, a drawn-out war, misunderstandings, a botched pure-blood wedding and a host of (necessary) secrets to keep.

Summary
Oliver glanced between Marcus Flint and his infant son several times. Then he plucked Reggie from Flint’s lap, simple as that, holding the baby under his armpits. He probably weighed as much as a bludger. A little fist came down and smacked him on the bridge of his nose.
“Stop this violence at once,” Oliver said, mock-serious.
*
In which Marcus Flint crash-lands into parenthood, and – against all expectations – Oliver Wood does, too.
Or: Learning how to tie nappies, shagging up against the sink, magical long-distance travel and the bigotry of post-war Wizarding Britain.
