Closing his eyes, he asks mommy for good luck, opens his wings, and jumps—“Woah, baby bird.” He yelps as he snatched up mid air and immediately curls up. “Hey, it’s okay, I’m not gonna hurt you.” Slowly, he peeks, taking note of the arms curled around him, and the ground, something of which he is not standing on, before he looks up, and smiles when Hawks smiles. “Gotta learn to fly before you jump, baby bird.”

“Zu, it’s okay!” Uraraka rushes forward, from the kitchen, Ashido and Yaoyorozu on her heels, Kaminari and Kirishima following behind with Todoroki. Iida comes to stand behind the couch. “Don’t cry! It’s okay!” They will make a human sacrifice to any god or goddess they need to in order to keep Hawks son from crying, especially just before he was supposed to be coming to pick up his beloved little bird.

Shimizu smiles up at her kind. “Hawks isn’t the boss, sweetie, he’s the chauffer.”

There’s a saying that goes ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’, that saying was not invented before this time, as if it were, it would read as ‘hell hath no fury like a winged man playing the role of mommy and daddy who’s toddler was violated by the most disgusting vilest creature known to man’, perhaps it was best that the saying was invented before this time we’re in, it doesn’t have quite the same ring as the original does.
