Summary
Hermione is pushed into a broom cupboard by Luna Lovegood while outrunning feared Death Eater Fenrir Greyback. She falls into the middle of the summoning circle of the Hogwarts founders, who eagerly take her as their first apprentice. While the founders struggle to get the castle built with limited funds and limited knowledge, Hermione is pushed to adapt to life at the turn of the first millennia. However, not everything is as it seems, and as Hermione is drawn deeper into life with the founders she finds they're all running from a threat in the south. Goblins, elves, and centaurs rush to the ends of the earth for sanctuary offered by the arrogant Salazar Slytherin. Can Hermione survive her apprenticeship? Or will Salazar kill her first?

Summary
Hermione is sent back to her own time after a summer with the founders only to understand how corrupted the world has become. Desperate to restore order to the magical world she seeks out all who can help the very magic that powers society only to find the corruption runs deeper than she would have ever imagined. To be reunited with her husband, the King of the North, she must give all, but can she find something to give that can wake a god?
