Summary
Through careful genetic testing over the past decade scientists have been able to figure out the particular gene that causes both the growth of wings in utero and the separate ability that allows a small percent of winged people to hide their wings.
Kevin can remember the first time his wings molted, his mother kept a pillow with the feathers in it. He can’t remember the first time he had a feather plucked, he can remember the most important time though.
