Payton Parker had once felt at the top of the world.
She had an Aunt and Uncle who loved her, just got superpowers, and had made it into The Midtown School of Science and Technology, her dream high-school. Unfortunately it would all come crashing down on her, as the the spider that bit her did more than give her powers, it threw her into the world of heroes and villains that she only ever expected to see from afar. Hunted by villains and haunted by her past; Payton has to learn to wield her new powers, even as secrets long since buried begin to rise to the surface...

Life of a Teenage Spider is an anthology series of one shots and short story arcs that take place throughout Payton's first year as Spider-Woman. It is also a direct sequel to my first story, For Want of a Spider. If the premise of this story interests you, and you haven't read the previous story in the series, I recommend you do so. Payton Parker is Spider-Woman.Now free from the grip of the Red Room, Payton is free to live her life once more, balancing her life as New York's newest superhero, school, and being a member of the chaotic Avengers family. She'll face new villains, meet new heroes, and overcome many challenges as she takes of the role of New York's Friendly Spider-Woman.
