This is probably my most well-known piece of work in the West Wing Fandom.

Also, it's unfinshed. There are at least two stories left in it and, at one point, there was even a plan and titles for those things. They're long gone now. I'm not sure I'll ever finish this tale, but what there is of it might be worth a read for some.

I can say this - if I were to write this story today, I'd write it differently. Seven years more of writing has really changed my style. For instance, this story is written in first person and switches frequently between Josh and Donna. If it weren't for section breaks it'd be pretty hard to follow. These days I like 3rd person limited omniscient and I don't switch perspectives nearly as often as I (apparently) used to. I can't remember now if this was meant to be an experiment or exercise or if it's just the way the story tumbled out of me. But it will make it difficult to finish.
