"Hello, Scavenger." He sneered.
"Ben..." Rey uttered, but she never got to finish the sentence, as he stopped her with the darkest, most deadly glare she had ever seen.
"Don't you dare call me that." His voice left no space for arguments.
"What happened to you?" Rey didn't understand. Wasn't she a prisoner of the First Order? Kylo Ren should be their Supreme Leader by now.
He didn't reply, didn't blink. Their connection was flooded with his dark anger.
She discovered the heavy chains around his wrists. He was just as much of a prisoner as her. Injured and unable to move even an inch.-

There will be romance and action when Kylo Ren and Rey are thrown into the same prison cell by a common enemy.
Unwillingly dependant upon (and drawn to) each other they fight to survive on an unfriendly planet. Escaping their captors, retrieving their lightsabers and working together without killing each other, is some of the hardships they face, while they challenge the boundaries between darkness and light.
No smut, but a lot of plot and romance. This is my take on the events following The Last Jedi.

"I missed you terribly." He mumbled, tightening his grip on her.
Rey didn't know what to say, of course, she had missed him too, but a part of her was still a little angry at him. "Where were you?" She asked, feeling him tense up a bit.
Kylo lifted his head to look up at her. "Are you sure that you want to know?"
"Yes."
"I was at Darth Vader's castle." His eyes were honest as they looked into hers.
Her heartbeat quickened. "Why?"
"To find answers." He replied.
"Did you find any?"
His lips quivered slightly. "No."
There it was again, the lostness in his eyes. She could feel it through the bond and it made her want to hold him closer. She bent down a little and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
"Then we will search for them somewhere else."-
Rey and Kylo have successfully escaped both the First Order and the Resistance.
Hunted by both sides they seek a place to hide, while they figure out the depth of their feelings and search for answers.Can they turn their backs on the universe? Do they really want to live the rest of their lives in total exile?

Part 3 of the Balance Series
The armored boots were too heavy for her, so she settled for the officers' boots and fastened the belt from the uniform to keep the tunic together around her.
Dressed all in black she felt less like herself than ever before.
When her hair was once again tied in her usual buns, she took a deep breath, as she went for the door.
I'm doing this for Kylo, she reminded herself, clinging to the faint feeling of him.-
Kylo is in critical condition and Rey is traped, forced to play bodyguard for the worst possible person: Armitage Hux. Trying to get the best out of an impossible situation Rey is balancing on the edge between the light and the dark side.Please enjoy!

Summary
Part 4, the last part of the Balance series.
Kylo was placed in the middle of the half-circle created by the Council. The soldiers stepped back a bit, and then all seven blasters were aimed at Kylo's back.
"Kylo Ren of the First Order, Jedi-killer, and Mas... Why is she here?" the speaker, a young man in a naval uniform, interrupted himself and gestured towards Rey, standing by the door. "We only called for Kylo Ren. The Jedi has no business here!"
Before the guard could answer Rey placed herself next to Kylo and looked the speaker straight in the eye, he was not many years older than her.
"I would like to see you throw me out." She calmly stated.
-Neither Kylo Ren nor Rey is to be trusted and the remaining leaders of the Resistance are plotting to have them executed. Rey and Kylo find answers and the real enemy is plotting his final draw, this time it's all or nothing.
