Alex Redfern left England, seeking to escape from a long carried pain, to leave behind the reminders of his failure. Leaving his home, he went to the United States, settling in a somewhat sleepy little town.
Should be a perfect retreat for him.
Jesse Hartley went about her days surviving small town life. She kept from getting close to anyone, from forming attachments, in order to shield herself from further grief.
How hard could it be for her?
Will shared grief and pain forge a new friendship, or will it only lead to more of the same for them both?
_________________________***This is a series of one-shots inspired from one of Julian Sands’ movies, “Tale of A Vampire”. They will be random adventures of the two main characters.
Mr. Sands was a great actor, the pain of his tragic passing is still felt even today. This series was an idea I’ve had since just before he went missing, but I held off in the hopes he would be found alive. Now, these stories will be a memorial of sorts.***
