The year is 1530 and the English court is in constant disarray thanks to the new King, Edward (yes, very historically incorrect 🥰as it all will be). This Sidlotte tale occurs far before those Regency ballrooms and gilded carriages we all know and love. A bit of a spoiler, this story has a very dark premise that will be revealed in the first several paragraphs (um, if you’ve read other stories from Butter and me…you already know how we do things. Wanted to warn you up front about this but there is an HEA always). Hope you’ll join us on our ride into the past and if not, have a wonderful day!

It will have a lot of the silly tropes I love to use as this is a simple story to entertain Butter and me over the holiday season. A shortish little regency Sidlotte tale about, well, Sidlotte 😊. This is more of a summer read with some well-tread tropes as sunny reads often are. While there may be a few dark threads (it’s a Butter/Renee production after all) there is a HEA as always.
