Summary
The Oakdix dynasty/empire seemed to be declining.
There is fatigue and famine all around the kingdom. As a form of motivation to the residents, the current King, Avemon IV Nodais Oakdix, made it mandatory for the eldest child of each family to work at the palace, in exchange for a room in the palace, as well as food and money for the families that they had left behind.When young John Widelock received the news of his awaiting departure, he turned to officers and even high ranking officials, in order to cancel or even delay his departure.
Unable to do anything about the situation he was caught up in, with a heavy heart he left behind his mother and two younger siblings.Meanwhile, the heir to the throne, William III Oakdix, is called to attend multiple classes, in order to prepare himself for his throne. The free time he is provided lessens by the second.
Searching for a partner has been difficult, the suggested 'candidates' not peaking his interests nor being beneficial enough for the kingdom.~
The story depicts the relationship of a poor, rebellious teenager, who comes across an even more problematic teen, the prince, the heir to the throne of the kingdom.
