Summary
After that drunken night Macaque is left broken, and he desperately tries to put himself back together piece by piece. But an untimely deadly illness, a certain immortal monkey, and a cursed promise threaten to break down the walls he’s spent so many centuries building up. In the end…is that really a bad thing?
Macaque and Sun Wukong have to figure out what they both want from each other before it’s too late and they are torn apart by fate once again.

This is gonna be my first bookmark cuz i saw that bookmark button and just went "oh fuck it, IT DESERVES A DANM BOOKMARK!!" This is a wonderfully written angst of two monkeys who have nothing but centuries old issues that are finally starting too catch up with em and it is one hell of a read too watch these two fall apart and maybe just maybe pull themselves back together again i wouldn't miss it if i were you it truly would be regrettable. The writing for this? Is absolutely magnificent I'm left wanting more everytime and learning just a lil bit more with every reread like there's so much here! AND ITS ALL SO GOOD! YOU GOTTA READ THIS YOU JUST GOTTA!
