It was too much time alone in your head. The visions of the past get harder and harder to hide when you meet up with a group of survivors outside of Atlanta. But you had to - you had to or they would leave you for walker bait if they knew what you had done. Shoot you if you were lucky.
Certainly, you were losing your goddamn mind. You couldn't take Rick down with you.

(writing since summer 2015)A/N (11/9/2019): Hi all! Thank you so much for continuing to leave kudos after so many years! Sounds of Freedom is still a very important piece of my heart and I'm so glad it's continuing to bring joy to those who read it. That being said, I've grown a lot through the course of writing this story and so has my perception of the characters. As the plot has slowed quite a bit to give canon ample time to progress, you might see a change in my writing style. The characters will also go through quite a bit of development to better reflect my evolving relationship with their interpretations. I hope you all continue enjoying Bel's story and thank you so much for continuing to support our growth in the cruel, but beautiful world of SnK. <3
