Summary
Since the end of the Dark Hollow incident, Harry has been actively working with John. At first it was out of a sense of obligation after the man had saved his life, again. Then, because they were getting results. But now, months into the arrangement, Harry knows that the real reason he keeps going back to Gentleman Johnny Marcone isn't the thrill of the hunt. It isn't even his sense of justice. He like spending time with John. The man calms a part of him, he'd refused to acknowledge was there until that point. Harry craves the order, the security that his association with John gives him. He's happier when he's around John, and that scares him. It causes him to pull away. John doesn't let him get far.
