Summary
Arranged marriage fic!
Wherein Maya's father (which btw not going to be Lane) is battling cancer and desperately wants his daughter to settle down and get married before his time runs out. In his search for a suitable partner, he crosses paths with Carina, an Italian who owns a flower shop across the street from the restaurant where he had a meeting. On one occasion, he brings Maya with him to Carina's flower shop and decides to introduce Maya to her.
However, Maya appears resistant and unhappy with her father's plans. Will she eventually have a change of heart and be open to the idea of marriage when she meets Carina? Or does she just have a heart of stone?
Maya appears mysterious, you can see sadness in her ocean blue eyes. What is her story?
