Summary
Even Mizuki, from time to time, sought Kanade for assistance. It was her nature. She wanted to help people, wanted to care for them, wanted to shelter them, wanted to protect them. This was her nature, and though it was exhausting, she was very well cared for. She knew all of Nightcord loved her, she knew that Honami cared for her, and she knew that they needed her. For all intents and purposes, Yoisaki Kanade was special, specially cherished.
And yet she still wanted to cry.
There was a reason why Yoisaki Kanade took action when her fellows didn’t, why she was the effective head of their band, why she praised so readily and smiled so easily when it was for the sake of others. There was a reason, plain and simple and effective and written into her soul, why Mafuyu knew to take refuge in her home, why Ena sought her words, why everything and everything sought her.
Kanade wanted Mafuyu’s fingers to fill the gaps in between her own, and she wondered why, because they had not known each other for nearly long enough. A beat or so after she had thought that, the answer lied in front of her.
“I find that things here, in your home, are… barely not broken.”

Summary
Kanade Yoisaki stays inside most of her time. Only going out when she's forced to by ena, or if she’s run out of food. She spends most of her time composing different songs that can hopefully save Mafuyu. She's been making progress, but there is still a long way to go. She usually never has company, except for when Honami comes and cleans her house, where they will usually talk over a cup of tea or something. But besides that, Kanade often lives in solitude..And then we have Saki Tenma. Who is basically the complete opposite of Kanade. She loves going outside to spend time with friends and hanging out after school, living her teenage life to the fullest. She lives in a bustling household full of chatter and cheer, and has an older brother who she wouldn’t change for the world. Something is always going on in her life and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
The chances of these two ever meeting each other were already very slim. But fate always finds a way..
