Summary
Eli Stabler is an excellent student. He’s engaged, he does the reading, he stays up to date on class discussion boards. School is A Thing He Can Control, and control he does. Staying in control of his grades is how Eli escaped the darkness of New York City (Or the Long Island City Apartment of Madness, as he thinks of it). It’s how he scored a HOT, GENIUS redhead of a girlfriend (Lab partners are a trope for a reason). Staying engaged in his schooling was always how he planned to get ahead, and stay ahead, of his dark and sad past. Until, of course, his dark, sad past finds him right in the one place he never thought it would- his classroom chair.
