   Summary

   The Pokémon League decides to change the age of when people can become trainers, 10-year-old Scott is forced to wait another 8 years to start his journey pretty much the day after he starts. Though all's not bad, though he wasn't able to catch a starter like Professor Rowan had planned, he still gifted him a Cyndaquil; Scott raised the Cyndaquil for the 8 years he had to wait, occasionally battling with his rival Terry who had gotten a Piplup from the professor. After 8 long years, Scott is finally able to start his journey, though his now grown up Typhlosion he named Cy has a few other ideas for how they should spend their journey.

   Currently this fic is on hiatus and may be rewritten, I'm not really sure what to do with this fic but rest assure to anyone who might find it that it will be redone in some capacity. I'm not too happy with what I've done with this and have lost interest in this specific version of the plot I have planned out; this is not up for adoption or anything and again, will be redone at some point but at the current moment I want to work on stuff for other fandoms.
