Summary
Cole, the Black Ninja, has been waiting MONTHS for Mr. Chen's Bakery to open. Not just cause he loves cake, but because he's been idolizing the celebrity owner's (Kai Smith) social media for years.
However, Cole wishes he could figure out what's Nya's problem with Kai Smith. Surely, it's not that bad... right? Whatever it is, she'll need to get over it when Kai becomes a target for attacks and kidnapping, requiring the Ninja Team to bodyguard him (but hey, free sweets).
If that's not enough, there's a new player in town. A dangerous high-rank member of the Anacondrai Cult called the Red Shogun who has been hunting down Elemental Masters. Cole really hopes they can defeat him soon so he can focus on cake (and staring at Kai's face).
Meanwhile, Kai doesn't know what's going to kill him first. His work as the Red Shogun, Black's Flirting, or his countless other secrets... he just wants to feed his new friends, damnit!

...but did redemption REALLY mean that Morro had to stick around babysitting the child versions of his old enemies?
And for one of them to even think Morro was their DAD???
Honestly, Morro should've stayed dead.

After freeing the enslaved Flower Fruit Mountain from the Demon King of Havoc and his Army, Macaque had no intention of sticking around, but events keep forcing him to stay longer! And even when he DOES manage to leave, Wukong somehow tracks him down!
But after learning about Chang'e's existence, Macaque decides to find her and obtain very unique moon-related ingredients needed to craft his Lantern of Souls. With it, he could finally disappear.
...of course, it's never that simple.
AKA: Macaque just wanted to prevent some of the deaths caused by the 10 Suns Event and leave FFM, but accidentally:

-Lays even more groundwork and alliances for future rebellion

It took a few years for Wukong to realize that, even though Macaque was in a coma, his Shadow would sometimes move on its own.
Or to be more accurate... their toddler son, Xiaotian, was the one to learn about the being later dubbed "Shadow Mama".
Regardless of the reason, Wukong was just happy that Xiaotian had a piece of his mother to interact with in the time spent waiting for Macaque to wake.
