Elliot simply nodded as he tried to process what was going on. ‘ is this a dream…?’ Elliot pinched himself hard, only to reel back in pain. ‘Definitely not a dream…so where the hell am I? They had to take care of their mother who was slowly dying from her reclining health. They had to survive the pain of being bullied and slandered due to their lack of a father. However, one day, a terrible fate washed upon them. Karmina was walking back to the alley they stayed, food in her hands. She watched as her mom was shot and killed right in front of her—her brother pleading for his life as they threw him around before taking his last breath. Karmina could do nothing but watch as her family was slaughtered by the same people that were meant to protect them.
