Summary
After surviving a brutal kidnapping and killing his abductor, Terrence Blake forces them to relocate to North Denver, hoping the distance will Finney rid the trauma.
His father promises Finney and Gwen that he’s done with drinking and his abusive behaviour. His promise ends up breaking and he ends up worse than before.

Mack stares down at the picture of Will and his dad, they’re smiling together at the golf course near his house. He looks good, relaxed and happy in a way that Mack can’t even imagine at the moment. It feels like they’re words apart. Vancouver and Boston, two separate planets distantly connected in the same universe. He shouldn’t resent Will for this. It’s Father’s day, he should be proud to post his dad.
Or, Mack hates Father’s day and the off season even more than normal because he’s away from Will. So, he goes to Boston and maybe ends up falling in love with his teammate too. Started thinking about this bc Will posted on his Insta for Father’s day and Mack didn’t.
