Summary
The North is about to burn, but not with fire. Queen Lyarra Snow, risen from bastard to Queen of the North, faces a threat no army can hold alone: the dead are marching south towards the Wall. Desperate, she ventures to Dragonstone to seek the aid of a Targaryen king she does not fully trust.

"You have your mother's eyes." That was the answer Jon always got whenever he asked his father about his mother; he never told her who she was or what she looked like, was she highborn or lowborn. Jon wanted to believe she was highborn and that she was still out there, waiting for him.
Jon Snow was born as the bastard son of Ned Stark and Ashara Dayne, living among cold stones and colder looks. Even at ten, Jon was sure his future would be the wall, but that will never happen as long as Robb is around to knock some sense into him.
