Summary
He could not give her what she deserved, this mad outlander that had lit blaze in his heart as bright as her hair. She deserved kingdoms, tribes, miracles. But he would give her what he could; a shelter from the storm, a moment of peace.
He would give her all that was left of himself, for as long as she would have him--even if only for a night.

New Game+ has me filled with a mighty need to flesh out the Embassy and entirely change up the Bulwark. Embark with me on this canon-divergent dive into a world where Kotallo and Aloy interact much more and let's see where it takes us.
(To smut. I already know. You already know. Let's do this.)

Summary
Irony must be a driving factor in Aloy's life; AETHER is meant to stabilize the air, but to get it she has to partner with a cold vortex of a man that quite obviously hates her company. The feeling is painfully mutual. Kotallo has been denied death, and cannot see his task of escorting an outlander in a doomed mission as anything other than an insult. The commonalities between them are barely enough to fill the surface of a coin and they'll surely kill each other before they even make it to the Bulwark.
Or, perhaps, they are both sides of it--alike and unable to realize it for the line separating them. Perhaps, instead of killing each other, they'll be able to work together after all.
OR a switching POV fic in which I catalog all the FEELS of our two favorite broody stabbers as they journey through the game.

Summary
She’d called it a flickering flame. And so it must be, if that is what she had said. And, as flickering flames were wont to do, it had sparked to life and guttered time and again in the last five years he’d spent behind the oar of the Drakkar.
Short Vili-centric stories the Skalds did not deem worthy of song, set throughout the events of the game with a focus on the Seige of Paris DLC. This is entirely born of my absolute conviction that Vili should be a viable long-term romance option (what the Hel, Ubi). Enjoy, drengr!
