"Do I make it?" Tanjirou asks him in the quiet of the night, whispered so low, almost as if the boy feared the answer.
Zenitsu turns to look at him, and red eyes quickly snap away, a blush creeping upon his cheeks, hands clenching the dark cloth of his uniform. Zenitsu watches for a moment, saddened by the sight of his young friend. He doesn't need more to know what Tanjirou is asking.
"Of course," he says at least, as soflty as a breeze, and big, hopeful eyes look back at him."Really?" He asks, a big smile upon his face that makes him as bright as the very sun.
"Yes," he answers, but says no more.

"Why did you help me?" she asks, and her voice sounds low in her own ears, so much so that she is about to repeat her question a little louder when he surprises her.
"I saw you," the boy replies, and Shireen almost tells him that was obvious when he continues, ", in a dream. Or the dream of a dream." He shrugs, a brisk, careless movement as he finally looks away from Shireen and concentrates on his hands.
She follows his gaze, noting the spear in his lap, and even from a distance she can see the runes and figures carved along the wood.
"A dream?" she repeats."Uh-hu," the boy murmurs, "the Heart Tree told us. We saw you. A Lady of stone surrounded by flames."

Lyanna thinks that her prince is cursing himself enough, but she cant help to frown at him.
"What were you thinking?" She demands, closing the door so no one can hear them, choosing to ignore how Septa Mordane would scowl at her for such improperty.
Rickon looks away from the window to see her, with a frown of his own in his pretty face.
"I didn't." He says, and Lyanna cant help but frowning even deeper.
"No shit." She says.This changes things, a lot, but Lyanna can't blame him, not really. In fact, Lyanna should be grateful that no one ended up dead so early.
Or, three doomed children go back in time and try to make things a little better.

Following the events at the White House, Erik finds he can no longer ignore something—or rather someone—that has been on his mind since he first peered into Erik's prison cell beneath the Pentagon: the silver-haired speedster. “I agree,” Castiel shrugged, “But would you have tried to kill me if I was human and had caused such chaos?”
A muscle in Dean’s jaw rippled, “We don’t deal with humans, that’s what the cops are for!”
“Dean…” Sam admonished softly, looking stricken.
Dean blinked, stunned by his own words. “I mean…I didn’t mean –“
Castiel swallowed, closing his eyes against a lance of pain in his chest that had nothing to do with the binding or the sigil. “Yes, you did. And its true, in any case.” Castiel gave him an out, but the words stung. He wasn’t human. Which meant he was – in a hunter’s mind – a creature.
An animal.
Something inside him felt like it was icing over...

Castiel is a seraph and a soldier. He doesn’t know how to be anything else. But knowing Sam and Dean Winchester has changed him in ways no angel has been changed before.
