Elanor's sigh broke with the pounding of her heart. "No."
He growled, sending a shiver down her spine as he pressed closer into her. His nails dug into the table, leaving dull nicks in the wood on each side of her hips. "Why do you always refuse me?"
"Oh, Dracule," she sighed again. He loved hearing his name on her kiss-stained lips, drunk on the slight purr of the 'r' rolling off her tongue. He met her gaze, hazy with a desire that matched his own. "We both know what can come from a drink in the library. One drink leads to three, and next thing I know I'm in your bedroom, and I'll never leave."
"Then I'll keep asking," he whispered into her ear. "Every night until you say yes." He lifted his head, catching her eyes again, their lips barely touching. "And you're right, my dear. The moment you're mine...I'm never letting you go."Bookmarked by Jassalg
